Algeta ASA has concluded two agreements for the manufacture and supply of Alpharadin for future commercial sale. The signing of these agreements triggers a EUR 5 million milestone payment from Bayer Schering Pharma, Algeta's development and commercial partner for Alpharadin.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Cysview(TM), a fluorescence-based procedure for detection of papillary bladder cancer. Photocure will now receive a 10 million milestone payment from GE Healthcare, its US licensee, and will be eligible for undisclosed royalties once the product has been launched.
Biotec Pharmacon reports that one of the company's patent applications referring to a combination therapy for cancer treatment has been granted in USA.
The patent is a composition patent protecting combinations of Biotec Pharmacon's proprietary compound soluble yeast beta-glucan (SBG) as an adjuvant together with monoclonal antibodies for treatment of cancer.
Photocure ASA announces results from its phase II study in acne with Visonac(TM) in combination with its new full face acne lamp. The efficacy results received in the last phase II study in acne with a simplified VisonacTM procedure were not as good as phase II results previously obtained with VisonacTM.
